We first signed with SelfDesign in February 2005 and we were blessed with an amazing learning consultant who totally GOT Aiyana and was nothing but supportive and helped with the transition healing time....it took Aiyana many months to trust and to heal and to see the world as a beautiful safe place to learn and to explore to imagine and create and to just be.
To watch Aiyana today she is totally back...she is her free spirited highly creative brave loving self! I am blessed daily as I get to watch and observe all that her days hold and i am constantly learning from her on how to be in the moment and mindful and it has transformed our whole family. The harmony and love and enthusiasm that have become a part of our everyday life is the greatest of gifts.
She enjoys creating her own learning plans and sharing her wins and passions for activities that she is involved in. She is very clear that she is an ARTIST and an ENVIRONMENTALST and that is her passion...
She continues to flourish and is now with confidence reading and writing and creating and singing and dancing and imagining and not afraid to dive right in and try and she is a beautiful confidant social butterfly once again...with a passion for protecting her Sacred Mother Earth and all within that realm. She is healthy and strong she has not suffered from ill health since those school days.
